I am reminded of Don Juan telling Carlos that he cannot become a man of knowledge if he allows everything to affect him like "a leaf in the wind".
ReplyDeleteThe work of the warrior seems very clear -- all you have to give is everything you have. It seems like a hefty price, but then again, we don't really have anything anyway. It's not what we have, it is that we are... grateful for our being, we must "be" with all our hearts all the time.
